The Countdown: Two Weeks to Istanbul

The first of many posts. After much petty deliberation and three different blog names later, I am up and running. An official virgin blogger at 20, a late bloomer most would say. This blog is dedicated to the many wonderful months I will spend in Turkey laboring to better the world with my domestic capabilities, my knack for good humor and easy insight to the English language. While based in Istanbul, we will explore the exact sciences of picking out bedtime stories, planning playful lessons, how to tactfully deny Bakclava for dinner, all the while exploring the quirks of the Turkish Mediterrean coast and where to find Kiehl's beauty products outside of New York. Running this risk of beating in the drumhead, this should be an adventure.
